The memory unit is an essential component in any digital computer ,since it need for storing the program that are execute  by the CPU(central processing unit).

1) Primary Memory:- primary memory is volatile memory .

It is store data temporary not permanent so that is called volatile memory.
Primary Memory is main memory of computer .  Primary memory is directly  communicate with CPU.

1)Ram(Random access memory)
2)Rom(Read only memory)

Random access memory is volatile memory. It is store dataTemporary . Ram is  directly communicate with CPU. It is also called main memory of Computer..

                           Rom

Read only memory is non volatile memory . It is store data permanently Rom is a chip that store the data which need to  start a computer (in beginning).
Rom is also used for gaming system. Rom is generally used for
startup time of computer .
 In this  time BIOS has been started . Then BIOS started and check all input and output device that how it is ?

Secondary memory is non volatile time memory. It is store data permanently.
